Responsibilities
- Responsible for negotiating, drafting, review and finalize customer contracts, statements of work, and change requests in accordance with company standards
- Ensures all regulatory and contractual requirements are identified, implemented, and evaluated as required
- Works closely with the business to scope, identify, and mitigate risks associated with outsourcing liabilities, compliance with laws, and intellectual property
- Consults with senior attorney(s) and subject matter experts as needed to resolve difficult legal issues
- Responsible for, and has the authority to make, strategic legal and contractual commitments that directly impact the compliance health and soundness of the company
- Responsible for adherence to the company’s global Integrity Policy, to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and to ensure compliance with the industry standards, laws, and applicable regulations
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
- Attorney-at-law in good standing licensed in Poland
- Degree from an accredited law school
- Relevant years’ experience in handling commercial transactions in-house or at a law firm, including experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, and CRs
- Experience in providing advice on intellectual property and privacy under US, UK, or EU law
- Experience driving a strong compliance culture that involves monitoring high risk areas associated with legal and operating requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex and strategic long-term agreements with clients to provide BPO and transformation related (i.e., consultancy) services
- Experience with service offerings utilizing bundled technology (i.e., software and services as a solution), including license agreements and data privacy best practices
- Experience in contracting with large multi-national corporations
- Experience in working at a global company, with teams from various geographic locations.
